Uniform Guidelines

The Uniform Closet is a great way to save money and refresh your child’s school wardrobe.

How It Works:

1. Donate: Drop off clean, gently used uniforms at the front desk.

2. Shop: We will hold the first Uniform Closet Shop Day in July at C-Luv Thrift.

3. Support: C-Luv will donate 100% of the proceeds to the Archē PTO. The funds will support school events that benefit our students, teachers, and families.

The Uniform Exchange  Sale will be held in July. The date and time will be communicated via email in the summer.

School uniforms help to identify your student as part of the Archē Classical Academy community and will be required to be worn daily by all students enrolled in Archē Classical Academy. School uniforms will be purchased from the approved vendor list.

The following items do not need to be purchased from the approved vendor list:

• Socks
• Shoes
• Modesty shorts
• Leggings/tights
• Belts
• Spirit wear (will be purchased through Archē Classical Academy)

Spirit wear:
Spirit wear days will be specified and announced in advance. On these days students will be able to wear any Archē Classical Academy spirit wear shirt with jeans or uniform pants/shorts. Students may wear any closed-toe tennis shoe. Spirit wear is not mandatory, and students can choose to wear regular school uniform on spirit wear days.

Other school activities:
School activities and events outside the school day students will be expected to dress modestly and appropriately to the planned activity.

All uniforms should be clean, neat, and of the appropriate size for the child and in good condition (no worn or frayed edges). Students are expected to be well-groomed and in uniform at the start of each school day. The length of shorts, skirts, and dresses must be no shorter than two inches above the knee. (Consider buying at knee length at the beginning of the school year in anticipation of growth. Know if your child has significant growth within the school year, additional uniform items may need to be purchased to stay in compliance.)

• Socks must be worn with no words or symbols and can be white, navy, or black.
• Belts must be either brown, navy, or black.
• Modesty shorts must be worn under dresses, jumpers, and skirts if they are not skorts. These shorts can be black, navy, gray or white.
• Leggings, tights, or knee-high socks may be worn under/with dresses, jumpers, and skirts/skorts. The leggings, tights, or socks can be navy, gray, or white. (Dresses, jumpers, and skirts/skorts still need to be no more than 2 inches above the knee)
• Shoes must be a closed toe tennis shoe or flat-bottomed closed toe dress shoe. Shoes may be black, navy, white, gray, or brown. Dress boots are allowed. Accent colors are allowed but must be subtle. No neon, glitter, or light up shoes.
• Girls’ hair accessories (hair ties, headbands, clips) must be neutral/ school colors.
• White undershirts may be worn and must be tucked in.
• When wearing Navy shorts/pants/skirts, shirts must be either white or light blue.
• When wearing a layered outfit (jumpers, or sweater vests) the outer layer must have the Archē Classical Academy patch.
• All tops must have the Archē Classical Academy patch. This can be either the purchased iron-on patch from the school office, or embroidered through our approved vendor, 2 Generations Embroidery & Silkscreening.
